When I get the time, hopefully in a matter of days rather than weeks, this page will contain text and illustrations that exhibit my creativity and/or technical skill in the use of MySQL, the celebrated database. Although MySQL is free, it is an extremely professional application that is quite capable of handling the largest workloads, which explains why it is used by NASA, the US Census Bureau, and others.
The content for much of this site is contained in a MySQL database, which is then extracted using server-side PHP scripting before being displayed in these pages.
